The Bible Project

Member Sherri Patterson organized a city-wide collection of Bibles (used or new) for distribution at hot-meal centers on the Gulf Coast. We sent six large boxes of Bibles and pastors' resources -- a total of 115 books -- for hurricane victims.

Mission Possible

Members Gary and Darlene McCleary run a unique small business that's also a ministry. "Mission Possible" sells clothes, furniture and household necessities at minimal cost. The McClearys give friendly personal service to each customer, filling needs ranging from recovery from a house fire to a few extra things for the kitchen to a warm winter coat. Visit them Monday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.; they are located on Route 208 between Knox and Shippenville, or call 814-782-3183.

Creative Kindess Group

Early in 2006, Clarion Free Methodist will be forming a Creative Kindness" group. Those who sew, those who want to learn to sew, and those who don't sew but enjoy working with their hands are needed to join in "projects that make a difference."
